About the Program
The Ericsson Empowering Girl Scholarship Program 2025-26 aims to provide financial aid to meritorious female students from underprivileged sections of society. Under this scholarship program, female students in the 2nd year of their graduation in the Information Technology, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology or Telecommunication engineering fields across India will receive benefits of INR 75,000 to help cover their academic expenses, including accommodation, tuition fees, etc.
Ericsson India is one of the leading providers of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services to global service providers. As part of its CSR initiative, the company launched the Ericsson Empowering Girl Scholarship Program 2025-26 to encourage meritorious females who aspire to become future engineers but are facing financial hurdles to pursue their higher education.
Since its inception, the program has disbursed over INR 36 lakh through 480 scholarships, benefitting 160 unique scholars across India. This continued support reflects Ericsson’s commitment to fostering inclusion, education, and gender equality in the STEM domain.
What is the Eligibility
- Open for female students across India only.
- Applicants studying in the 2nd year of an engineering program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, and Telecommunication streams at state/UGC recognised colleges in India.
- Applicants must have scored at least a 6.5 GPA or equivalent marks in the previous final examination.
- The annual family income of the applicant from all sources must not exceed INR 6,00,000.
- Preference to applicants with disabilities/single parents/orphans.
- Children of Ericsson and Buddy4Study employees are not eligible.

- Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Upload the relevant documents.
- Accept the terms and conditions and then click on ‘Preview’.
- If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

- Proof of Identity
- Current year admission proof (Admission Letter, ID Card, Bonafide Certificate)
- Marksheet of Classes 10, 12 and First Year (1st/2nd semester marksheets)
- Fee receipt
- Family income proof (Income certificate issued Gram Panchayat or the State Government, ITR and salary slips)
- Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Documents proof of disability, orphans/single parents (if applicable)
