Scholarship Benefits

  • For instance, some General category students enrolled in Class 9 or 10 may receive ₹3,000 annually.

  • SC/ST residential students may receive up to ₹8,000 annually under certain components.

  1. Aadhaar Card (Mandatory for KYC)

  2. Latest Passport-sized Photograph

  3. Income Certificate (Issued by a competent authority, e.g., Tehsildar)

  4. Caste Certificate (Mandatory for SC/ST/OBC/Minority)

  5. Domicile Certificate (Proof of residency)

  6. Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination (Class 8 for fresh Class 9 applicants; Class 9 for fresh/renewal Class 10 applicants)

How to Apply (Online Process)

The application process for the UP Pre-Matric Scholarship is digital and consists of the following major steps:

Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

  • Complete the OTR process, which involves:

    • Mobile Number Authentication via OTP.

    • Aadhaar e-KYC using the linked mobile number.

    • Generating a unique OTR Number.

Step 2: Login and Form Filling

  • Go to the “Student” tab on the homepage.

  • Select “Registration” and choose the “Pre-Matric (Class 9-10)” option under the relevant category (SC/ST/OBC/General/Minority).

  • Log in using the registered OTR number.

  • Fill in personal details, academic information, and family income data accurately.

Step 3: Document Upload

  • Upload scanned copies of all mandatory documents, including your photograph, marksheet, and income/caste certificates.

Step 4: Verification and Submission

  • Verify all entered details. Submit the form online.

  • Download the filled application form.

  • Print the application form and submit a hard copy to your school institute along with photocopies of all required documents by the deadline.
