University of Essex International Health Bursary Postgraduate Scholarship 2024-25
The University of Essex International Health Bursary Postgraduate Scholarship 2024-25 is an opportunity provided by the University of Essex to international students starting their postgraduate course at the University of Essex. This bursary covers the cost of the Immigration Health Surcharge for the entire duration of the course. The selected candidates can receive an amount of up to £776 (approx. ₹75,000).

Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an international students
- have registered at the University of Essex in October 2024 or January 2025 for a Master’s course
- have paid both the installments of their tuition fees for the academic year 2024-25
- have provided proof of their current visa permission
Non-Eligibility Criteria:
- Students pursuing a Master's by Dissertation (MAD/ MSD) course.
- Students pursuing a course that is normally delivered wholly online.
- Students pursuing part-time courses.
Benefits
The selected candidates can receive an Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) of up to £776 (approx. ₹75,000).

The students will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
More details
- Students will have to open a UK bank account to receive the bursary payments.
- Students who start their course in September/October 2024 will receive their payment in June 2025, and those who start it in January 2025 will receive it in November 2025.
- Payments will be made via bank transfer.

Step 3: Click on the 'Apply Now' button and choose the 'Register' tab.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and submit the page.
Step 5: Enter the email address and passphrase and click on the 'Login' tab.
Step 6: Choose a course and apply for it.
Note:- There is no separate application for the scholarship; the University of Essex will identify eligible students. If students are eligible to receive this bursary, they will be contacted via their Essex email account.
