About the Program
Turkiye Scholarships 2025 is an opportunity provided by the Government of the Republic of Turkey for all international students willing to study at the Associate, UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels at the top universities in Turkiye. This scholarship aims to create a network of future leaders dedicated to cooperation between countries and understanding among societies. The selected students will receive a monthly stipend of up to ₺9,000 and other benefits.

What is the Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an international citizen (including India)
- be willing to pursue studies at the Associate, UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels at the universities in Turkiye
- be below the age of
- 21 – for UG/Associate
- 30 – for PG level
- 35 – for Ph.D.
- 50 – for Research scholarship
- have achieved 70% marks for associate/UG, 75% marks for PG and 90% marks for Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy)
Non-eligibility:
- Turkish citizens and individuals who have lost Turkish citizenship are not eligible to apply.
- Individuals who are currently enrolled in programs in Turkish universities are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘APPLICATION/LOGIN’ on the top right corner of the page.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Register’ button, enter the details and save (Skip this step if already registered).
Step 5: Log in using the valid credentials (Email ID and password).
Step 6: Fill in the details in the application form and upload the required documents (attach the extracurricular activities and achievement certificates if available).
Step 7: List the dream University.
Step 8: Submit a letter of intent that includes your preferences, expectations, and future aspirations.
Step 9: Check all the details and click on the submit button.

- Signing up is free of cost.
- The correct details are important for the scholarship award.
- The application process will take 30-60 minutes.

Benefits
The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:-
- A monthly stipend of ₺4,500 (approx. ₹10,822) at Associate’s and Bachelor’s levels, ₺6,500 (approx. ₹15,632) at Master's level and ₺9,000 (approx. ₹21,644) at PhD level
- Covers University tuition fees
- University placements
- Accommodation:
- For associate and UG level students – Dormitory facilities
- For PG and Ph.D. level – A monthly housing allowance of ₺6,000 (approx. ₹15,632) for students studying in Istanbul and Ankara, and
- ₺5,000 (₹12,024) for those studying in other cities
- Health insurance
- One-time flight tickets (when student come to Turkey for the first time and when they return to their own countries after completion of the course)
- 1-year Turkish language course for free.
Required Documents
- A valid identity document, ID card, or passport
- A photograph of the candidate taken within the last 1 year
- National exam results (if any)
- Diploma or temporary graduation certificate
- Academic transcripts
- Results of international exams like the GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc., if required by the chosen university or program
- Test results of international language tests, such as TOEFL, DELF, if required by the chosen university or program
- A proposal for a research topic and a written example of the research you have carried out (only for PhD applications)
Selection Criteria
Applications for Turkiye Scholarships are considered according to the candidate’s academic success, social activities and motivation related to the chosen field.
Applicants are evaluated through a 5-steps process consisting of:
- Preliminary evaluation
- Expert evaluation
- Test
- The interview
- The final assessment
More Details about this Scholarship
- Most programs in Turkish universities are taught in Turkish, but some departments offer programs in English.
- Applicants for English-taught programs must provide an internationally accepted language proficiency certificate (e.g., TOEFL) if specified by the university.
- Undergraduate candidates with international qualifications like SAT or GCSE need to meet the minimum secondary school requirements as per these exams.
- Awardees without a C1 Level Certificate in Turkish must attend a one-year Turkish Language Course and achieve the C1 level by the end of their academic year, regardless of their program's language of instruction.
