About the Program
The TATA AIA Paras Scholarship Program 2025-26 is a CSR initiative by TATA AIA Life Insurance Company Limited aimed at empowering meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds. The program extends financial support to transgender students, persons with disabilities, females and students belonging to SC/ST communities who are pursuing undergraduate courses in professional fields such as Commerce, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Banking, Insurance, Management, Data Science, Statistics, Risk Management, B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BBI, BA, etc. Eligible students will receive a fixed scholarship of INR 15,000 per year to aid their academic journey.

What is the Eligibility
- Applicants must be pursuing any course in graduation.
- Open to transgender and PWD students only.
- Applicants’ annual family income should not be more than ₹8,00,000 from all sources.
- Applicants from PAN India are eligible.
NOTE: Children of TATA AIA employees and Buddy4Study employees are not eligible to apply.

- If not registered – register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile Number/Gmail account.
- You will now be redirected to the ‘TATA AIA Paras Scholarship Program for Transgender/PWD Students 2024-25' application form page.
- Click on the 'Start Application' button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Accept the 'Terms and Conditions' and click on 'Preview.'
- Review the preview screen to ensure that all the filled-in details are correct.
- If all the details appear correctly on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

Note: Scholarship amount can be utilized only for education-related expenses such as tuition fees, hostel fees, food, travel, internet, devices, books, stationery, etc.

- Attested mark sheet of the last qualified examination
- College admission proof (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card, etc.)
- Proof of identity (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card, etc.)
- Proof of address (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Electricity Bill, etc.)
- Proof of family income such as ITR, salary slips, income certificate by a concerned government authority, etc.
- Bank details of applicants (or parents)
- Statement of purpose/essay
- Disability certificate
- Transgender Identity Certificate issued through National portal for a transgender person of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment
