About the Program
The Swami Dayanand Merit India Scholarships 2024-25, offered by the Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF), aims to provide financial assistance to deserving and meritorious students pursuing professional courses such as engineering, medicine, and architecture in India. Open to students enrolled in government or private institutions, this initiative seeks to empower exceptionally talented individuals facing financial challenges, ensuring they can pursue and complete their higher education.
Selected scholars will receive financial support of up to INR 1,00,000 annually to aid their academic journey.
About SDEF
Swami Dayanand Education Foundation, initiated by Mr. Ashutosh Garg and its founder trustees in 2015, was founded with a noble mission to offer scholarships to college students in India and the United States. Since its establishment, the foundation has been dedicated to making a quality college education attainable and within reach for all deserving students, regardless of their financial circumstances.
What is the Eligibility
- Applicants must be first or second-year students enrolled in engineering, medical, or architecture programs at government or private institutions in India.
- First-year applicants must have secured at least 80% in their Class 12 board examinations.
- Second-year applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in their first year.
- The program is open for students PAN India.
- Annual family income from all sources should not exceed INR 15 lakhs.
- Applicants must have a JEE/NEET All India Rank (AIR) below 30,000.
- There should be no more than a one-year gap after completing Class 12.

Benefits
- INR 1 lakh per annum for students with an AIR below 5,000.
- INR 75,000 per annum for students with an AIR between 5,000 and 15,000.
- INR 50,000 per annum for students with an AIR between 15,000 and 30,000.
Note:
- The scholarship covers expenses for the entire duration of the beneficiary's degree program.
- The scholarship funds are strictly allocated for academic purposes, including tuition fees, hostel fees, food, internet, devices (e.g., laptops), books, stationery, online learning resources, etc.
