About the Program
The STEM Scholars: Shaping the next Generation of Innovators in collaboration with Nasscom Foundation and supported by Optum CSR initiative aims to empower students from underrepresented and economically disadvantaged backgrounds by supporting their pursuit of STEM education. The program offers comprehensive financial assistance covering tuition fees, living expenses, and study materials, while also fostering academic excellence through merit-based selection. Open to 3rd and 4th-year students pursuing B.E./B.Tech, Pharmacy or Life Sciences and to students pursuing a 5-year Integrated Engineering Programme combining a Bachelor's and a Master's degree (e.g., B.Tech + M.Tech, B.E. + M.E), provided they are in their 4th or 5th year of a government or private institutes across Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, or Hyderabad further enhances career growth through mentorship and internship opportunities.
What is the Eligibility
- Open to students in the 3rd and 4th year of B.E./B.Tech programs in Computer Science, Pharmacy, and Life Sciences.
- Open to students pursuing a 5-year Integrated Engineering Programme combining a Bachelor's and a Master's degree (e.g., B.Tech + M.Tech, B.E. + M.E), provided they are in their 4th or 5th year.
- Applicants studying in any government or private institutes in Delhi / Bengaluru / Chennai / Hyderabad.
- Preference to be given to SC, ST, OBC, PwD, single parent, orphan, and girls applicants.
- Applicants must have scored a minimum of 65% marks in Class 12th.
- Applicants must have an annual family income from all sources up to INR 8 lakh.
- Children of employees, Partners, and Donors will not be eligible for the said scholarship.
