Unlock Your Potential: The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2024-25

Dreaming of continuing your education but facing financial hurdles? The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship, spearheaded by the SBI Foundation, is one of India’s largest scholarship programs, dedicated to empowering meritorious students from low-income families. For the 2024-25 academic year, this initiative aims to provide vital financial assistance to students in Classes 6 to 12, ensuring they can continue their education with confidence. Selected students can receive a one-time scholarship of INR 15,000 to support their academic journey. —

Key Scholarship Details

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

To be eligible for the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2024-25, applicants must meet the following criteria: Academic Level: Currently studying in Class 6 to 12 in the current academic year. Academic Performance: Secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year. Family Income: Gross annual family income must be up to INR 3,00,000. Geographic Focus: Applications are currently open for students from the following States and Union Territories: States: Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttarakhand. Union Territories: Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep, Puducherry. Important Notes: Gender Equity: 50% of the scholarship slots are reserved for female applicants. Priority: Preference will be given to applicants belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.

A one-time scholarship of INR 15,000 to support your educational expenses.

How to Apply

Applying for the scholarship is simple and straightforward: 1. Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below. 2. You will be redirected to the Buddy4Study platform. 3. Login to Buddy4Study using your registered ID. If you’re a new user, quickly register with your Email, Mobile number, or Google account. 4. Once logged in, you will land on the ‘SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024’ application form page. 5. Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the process. 6. Fill in all the required details accurately in the online application form. 7. Upload all necessary documents (refer to the list below). 8. Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’. 9. Carefully review all the details on the preview screen. If everything is correct, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete your application. —

Documents You’ll Need

Please ensure you have the following documents ready for upload: Marksheet from the previous academic year (relevant to your current class, e.g., Class 5 for Class 6 applicants, Class 11 for Class 12 applicants). Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card). Current year fee receipt. Proof of current year admission (admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate). Bank account details of the applicant (or parent/guardian). Proof of income (Form 16A/income certificate from a government authority/salary slips, etc.). Recent photograph of the applicant. Caste Certificate (if applicable, for SC/ST categories).
