About the Program

The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Overseas Education 2024-25, one of India's largest scholarship programs, is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical – Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). This program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India, ensuring the continuity of their education. This scholarship is open to SC/ST students pursuing a master’s or above course (any year) at a premier university/college outside India. Selected students can receive a scholarship of up to INR 20 lakh for a year to support their educational endeavours.

What is the Eligibility

• Applicants must be Indian nationals.
• Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
• Applicants must be pursuing a master’s or above course (any year) at a premier university or college outside India OR should have received an acceptance/offer letter from universities outside India.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• Students with a gross annual family income of up to INR 6,00,000 are eligible to apply.

Note: 

• Premier universities/colleges outside of India will include those listed at the top in reputed world rankings such as the QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education World University Rankings
• Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
• 100% of the slots for overseas education will be reserved for SC/ST scholars.

• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
• Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and land on the ‘Application Form Page.’
  • If not registered, register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile/Google account.
• You will now be redirected to the ‘SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Overseas Education 2024-25’ application form page.
• Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process, fill in the required details in the online application form, and upload relevant documents.
• Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’. 
• If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
