The SBIF Asha Scholarship for School Students 2026 is an initiative introduced by the SBI Foundation within its educational framework known as the Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). This scholarship program aims to extend financial aid to bright students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds across India, ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of their education. Students enrolled in Classes 6 to 12 have the opportunity to receive a one-year scholarship worth INR 10,000 under this program. Buddy4Study collaborates as the implementing partner for this scholarship initiative.

SBI Asha Scholarship Key Highlights

The SBI Foundation operates as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) division of the State Bank of India. In alignment with its commitment to service beyond traditional banking, the Foundation actively operates across 28 States and Union Territories in India. Its focus spans Rural Development, Healthcare, Education, Livelihood & Entrepreneurship, Youth Empowerment, Sports Promotion, and more, all aimed at contributing to the socio-economic progress and uplifting the marginalized sectors of society. Eligibility

• Students studying in Classes 6 to 12 are eligible.
• Applicants must have scored a minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year.
• Annual family income of the applicant must not be more than INR 3,00,000 from all sources.
• Students from PAN India can apply.

• A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card) 
• Current year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
• Bank account details of applicant (or parent)
• Income proof (Form 16A/income certificate from government authority/salary slips, etc.) 
• Photograph of the applicant
