PHINIA Scholarship Program 2024-25

About the Program

The PHINIA Scholarship Program 2025–26, an esteemed initiative by PHINIA, has been instituted to encourage and assist meritorious engineering students in continuing their education without financial constraints. The program provides financial assistance to female students from the second year onwards in B.Tech. or B.E. courses at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (Mysuru), covering up to 50% of their annual tuition fees or ₹60,000, whichever is less.

What is the Eligibility

• Open for female students currently enrolled in their 2nd year and later of B.Tech./ B.E., courses at the GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (Mysuru).
• Students must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in both Class 12 and the first year/previous year B.Tech../B.E examinations.
• The students’ combined annual family income from all sources must not exceed INR 5 lakh.

Note: Children of employees or contractual staff of PHINIA, Buddy4Study, and its affiliates are not eligible to apply.

• Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and land on the ‘Application Form Page.’
  • Register at Buddy4Study with your email/mobile/Google account if you are not registered.
• You will now be redirected to the ‘PHINIA Scholarship Program 2024-25’ application form page.
• Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
• Fill in the required details in the online application form.
• Upload relevant documents.
• Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’. 
• If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

50% of the annual tuition fees

Note: Selected scholars will be reimbursed for the fees paid during the current academic year.

The fee structure for FY 2024-25 is as follows:

• INR 1,15,415 per annum for students admitted via K-CET.
• INR 1,95,900 per annum for students admitted via Comed-K.

Important:

• Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the scholar’s account.
• The fee structure may vary annually and will require prior written approval from PHINIA before disbursement.

Required Documents

• Recent passport-size photograph
• Proof of identity of the scholar and her parents (Aadhaar Card/ Ration Card/ Voter’s ID Card)
• Current year admission proof (fee receipt/ admission letter/ institution identity card/ bonafide certificate)
• Class 10, 12 and previous year B.Tech./ B.E. mark sheets
• Family income proof (any one of them):
  • Income proof issued by Gram Panchayat (signed and stamped)
  • Income proof issued by Tehsildar/ Block Development Officer (for rural areas)
  • Affidavit for orphans/ single parent-child (where the family lost the earning member)
  • Below the Poverty Line (BPL)/ Ration Card
• Copy of cancelled cheque/ passbook copy of the scholar in which the scholarship fund shall be transferred, if the applicant is selected
