About the Program
OakNorth STEM Scholarship Programme is an initiative from OakNorth to provide financial assistance to underprivileged women seeking to pursue higher education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects. Under this scholarship, female students from Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Bihar who have passed Class 12 and are pursuing a degree (any graduation year) in STEM-related subjects at government colleges/universities will be provided with a scholarship of ₹30,000 to continue their education.
OakNorth is a leading fintech business focused on empowering lower mid-market businesses that are major contributors to economic and employment growth, yet often struggle to access fast and flexible debt finance.
The scholarship programme is part of OakNorth’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and aims to promote gender equality in the field of STEM, particularly for female students from socio-economically underprivileged backgrounds.
What is the Eligibility
- Open to students domiciled in Haryana, Uttarakhand and Bihar.
- Only female candidates are eligible.
- Applicants must be pursuing a degree (any graduation year) in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects at government universities or colleges across India.
- Candidates must have secured an aggregate of 75% or above in Class 12 (or equivalent) and at least 65% in the previous class/semester/year (if applicable).
- The applicant's annual family income must be less than ₹3 lakhs.
- Children of employees of Buddy4Study and OakNorth are not eligible to apply.
How to Apply

- Log in to Buddy4Study using a registered ID to land on the ‘Online Application Form Page’.
- If not registered, please register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile number/Google account.
- You will now be redirected to the ‘OakNorth STEM Scholarship Programme 2025-26’ application form page.
- Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online scholarship application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
- If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

Benefits
A scholarship of ₹30,000 (fixed amount) will be offered to the selected students for one time only.
Required Documents
- CV/resume of the applicant
- Copies of Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, and previous semester marksheets (if applicable)
- Copy of Aadhaar Card
- Family Income Proof (e.g., a letter from the SDM, DM, Tehsildar, or equivalent authority/proof of income tax returns/an affidavit, etc.)
- Provisional allotment/admission letter from the university
- An essay on “Why You Should Be Given This Scholarship?”
- A letter of recommendation (from College/University)
