This programme provides financial assistance to reduce academic expenses and help talented medical students continue their education without financial stress. What is the Eligibility
- Students must be enrolled in the first year of an MBBS program at a government medical college.
- Applicants must have scored at least 65% marks in Class 12 board examinations.
- The annual family income of the applicants must be below INR 6,00,000 from all sources.
- The scholarship is open to Indian nationals only.
- Children of employees of GlaxoSmithKline Global Capability Centre (GSK GCC) and Buddy4Study are ineligible.
How to Apply

- Log in to Buddy4Study using your registered ID to access the ‘Application Form page’.
- If you’re not registered, sign up on Buddy4Study using your Email, Mobile, or Google account.
- You will be redirected to the “GSK Global Capability Centre Scholarship Program 2025-26” application form page.
- Click the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Upload the relevant documents.
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click ‘Preview’.
- If all the details are correct in the preview, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete your application.

Benefits
Selected students will receive a scholarship of up to INR 1,00,000 per year for 4.5 years.
Note: The scholarship supports educational-related expenses, which include course fees, hostel fees, mess fees, travelling expenses, books, stationery, devices/data, etc.
Required Documents
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- Current institution admission proof (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card).
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets (self-attested)
- Payment receipts for educational expenses (tuition fees, hostel fees, books, etc.), along with the fee structure for the academic year
- A bona fide letter from the college/school stating the total fees/expenses incurred by the applicant in an academic year/annual cycle
- Proof of family income (ITR return, salary slips, letters from government authorities, etc.)
- Proof of identity
- Bank passbook
- Document proof for transgender and physical disability (if applicable)
