DMI Patna PGDM Scholarship 2026

About the Program

The DMI Patna PGDM Scholarship 2026 is offered through the Development Management Institute (DMI)*, Patna, for students pursuing a diploma in development management. Selected candidates will receive up to a 100% fee waiver.

The Development Management Institute (DMI) was established on 13th February 2014, by the Bihar Government, to enhance livelihoods for small producers through collective organisation and professional partnerships.

What is the Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• hold a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/Differently Abled students) from a recognised/deemed university/institute by UGC/AICTE
• have acquired a valid score in CAT 2025/XAT 2026/GMAT (2022-26)/CMAT 2026/MAT (September 2025 or later)
• be applying for the Postgraduate Diploma in Development Management

Note: Students appearing for their final year graduation examination may apply if they complete all the examinations of the final year by 21st June 2026.

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Register by entering the proper information and validating/verifying an email address.
Step 4: Access the admission/application portal from the link sent to the provided email address.
Step 5: Click ‘Apply Now’ to start the application.

Note: A payment of ₹300 for General, ₹200 for BC, EBC, EWS and Female, and ₹100 for ST, SC, and DA categories is necessary for the completion of the application process.

Successful candidates will receive tuition fee waiver as follows:

University toppers will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver in any discipline/branch.

During Form Submission:

• Photograph (JPEG/PNG, max 2MB)
• Signature (JPEG/PNG, max 2MB)
• Registration for one Management Admission Test – CAT 2025, XAT 2026, CMAT 2026, GMAT, or MAT (Sep 2025, Dec 2025, Feb 2026) for PGDM admissions 2026-2028

At Admission:

• Mark sheets: 10th, 12th, and Graduation
• Identity proof: Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving License, or Voter Card
• Category/caste certificate from the Bihar authority (if applicable)
• Residential proof (for Bihar domicile claimants)
• Disability certificate (for Differently-Abled persons)
• Work experience certificate (if applicable)

Selection Criteria

Applicants shortlisted based on merit and fulfilment of the eligibility criteria will undergo assessment tests at DMI Patna, followed by an interview. Notifications will be communicated via email/call/SMS.
