About the Program
The BYPL SASHAKT Scholarship Program 2025–26, a CSR initiative of BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL), is designed to support the higher education of deserving students from Delhi’s economically weaker sections. The program offers up to ₹30,000 scholarship to help final-year undergraduates in government institutes to complete their studies with confidence. While the scholarship is open to all streams, it places particular emphasis on students pursuing professional courses such as Nursing, Para-Medical, B.Ed, Engineering, or Chartered Accountancy, areas that build strong employability for the future. By removing financial barriers and encouraging merit, the SASHAKT Scholarship reflects BYPL’s long-standing commitment to education, skill development, and community empowerment. It is not just financial aid, but a step towards enabling Delhi’s youth to realise their aspirations and step into the future with greater opportunity.
What is the Eligibility
- Open only to Indian nationals residing in Delhi.
- Applicants must be in the final year of their undergraduate courses (any stream) at a government institute in Delhi.
- Students pursuing any distance courses are also eligible.
- Must have secured at least 55% marks in the previous examination.
- Annual family income should not exceed INR 6,00,000 from all sources.
- Children of employees of BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) and Buddy4Study are not eligible.
How to Apply

- If not registered – Register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile/Gmail account.
- You will now be redirected to the ‘BYPL SASHAKT Scholarship’ application form page.
- Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Upload relevant documents.
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
- If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
