The Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana is offering the Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Haryana 2023-24. This opportunity is for SC students in Haryana who are studying at the post matric or post secondary level. The scholarship provides financial assistance for higher education. Selected students will receive academic allowances and other benefits.
The Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students in Haryana for the year 2023-24 has a deadline of January 31, 2024. To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria: be a permanent resident of Haryana, belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) of Haryana, and be studying at the post matric or post secondary level in a recognized institution or university. The scholarship is open to students in various categories, including institutions of national importance, central and state universities, autonomous colleges recognized by UGC, deemed universities, private universities with accreditation by NAAC/NBA, private professional institutions affiliated with recognized universities, recognized schools/colleges for Class 11 and 12, and diploma-granting institutions recognized by the State/UT Government. The scholarship provides benefits to eligible students with an annual family income of up to INR 2,50,000.
The scholarship covers the following components throughout the course: mandatory non-refundable fees, including tuition fees set by the State Government’s fees/fixation rationalization committee; academic allowance for different categories of courses; and additional allowances for divyang students. Students pursuing CA/ICWA/CS/ICFA will be considered day scholars for academic allowance. Correspondence/online course students are not eligible for academic allowances. Required documents include Aadhaar card, photograph, signature, income certificate, Haryana domicile certificate, caste certificate, Class 10 and 12 certificates, Parivar pehchaan patra, fee receipt, last exam passed certificate (except for 1st-year students), BPL certificate (if applicable), and father’s death certificate (if applicable).
How to Apply?
Applicants who meet the requirements can submit their application by following the steps outlined below.
Please select the ‘Apply Now’ option to proceed with your application.
Proceed by selecting the ‘Register’ option and providing the necessary information. In case you are already registered, simply log in using your Gmail, mobile number, or email ID.
Proceed to the dashboard and select “Student Registration” from the menu at the top, then click on it.
To generate an OTP, select the applicant’s name from the displayed list of members after entering the Family Id (Parivar Pehchaan Patra). Click on the ‘Generate OTP’ button.
Please input the OTP received on your registered mobile number and then click on the ‘Verify OTP’ button.
Step 6: Once the OTP verification is completed, the registration form will automatically populate with the provided details for you to review and verify.
Choose the Department and College, generate a password, and select the ‘Register’ button to proceed with the registration process.
To access the scholarship application, simply click on the login link provided on the portal and enter your correct login details.
Please ensure that you include all the required information such as the course, roll number, and eligibility criteria.
